Any information on Frank Herbert b.1918-1994, from London who was in the Palestine Police, I have very little info but I believe he joined after he served in WW2. Any help would be very very welcome this is on behalf of his son Peter who was told very little detail from his father who then moved on to Dubai to work in the National Bank of Dubai, Sincerely and Thankyou Sam.

Reuben Jones joined the Palestine Police in December 1938 and served until the end. It is possible that his service records have survived. E-mail me at seanwgannon@yahoo.ie

My father served with the Palestine Police Force, he was based in Jerusalem and Jericho, later he served in Malaya as part of the Colonials. His name was Fred Hart bur was oftened called Jim. I have a few pictures but little information, I have tried to contact the old comrades Association to access his records but the site appears to be unavailable. My parents hosted quite a few reunion mettings at our home in Newington , Kent. I would love to know more about his time in the Force or hear from anyone who may have known him.

Hello. I am currently researching a PhD thesis on the participation of Irishmen in the Palestine police forces, 1922-1948, and am anxious to hear from former Irish policemen, their relatives or anyone with memories of the many many Irish who served in the Gendarmeries and the PPF. I may also be able to provide information to people looking for information on particular Irish policemen as I have collected a considerable amount of data on an ever increasing number of individuals. I can be contacted on seanwgannon@yahoo.ie Thank you. Sean

Hello all, Not really sure if I am posting this in the correct place... My grandad William Francis Atherton served in Palestine police and was based in Haifa as well as Safad (1944), just wondering if anyone had any further information about my grandad and the work they completed in Israel? Thanks Paul
